About SafePrepPro

SafePrepPro, operated by SafePrepPro LLC, is the SAFE National MLO Licensing Exam Study Prep platform: a self-paced study platform for candidates preparing for the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator National Test with Uniform State Content. It combines plain-English lessons, a 1,200+-question practice bank weighted to the official test content outline, full-length timed mock exams, an interactive loan simulator, study guides, calculators, flashcards, and reference sheets.

Every question in the bank is an original item written for this platform. Questions are modeled on the style, difficulty, and topic weighting of the national test but are not copied from, and do not reproduce, any actual exam content. The bank is updated continuously as federal rules and dollar thresholds change.

For mortgage branches and teams, SafePrepPro for Branches adds per-seat plans with manager oversight: invite recruits by email and track each one's server-verified readiness. Seat members' mock exams and practice sets are administered and graded on our servers, so the numbers a manager sees reflect real, timed work (not self-reported progress) and show exactly who is prepared to sit before you pay for a test-center seat.

Our goal is simple: that you walk into the testing center having already answered harder questions than the ones you will see.

Privacy Policy

Your study data lives in two places: a working copy in your own browser (localStorage) and, for signed-in members with an active plan, a private synced copy tied to your account so your progress follows you across devices. Your study data is never shared with, sold to, or accessible by other users. For members studying on a branch or organization seat, mock exams and practice sets are additionally administered and graded on our servers, as described below.

What we store locally

Completed lessons, practice and exam results and their review archives, flashcard progress, scratch notes, theme preference, and login session state. Clearing your browser storage for this site deletes this local copy; if you are a signed-in member, your synced copy is restored the next time you sign in.

Cross-device sync

Signed-in members with an active plan sync their study state to our servers so it can be restored on any device they sign in to: lesson progress, practice and mock-exam history, loan-simulator progress and XP, flashcard scheduling, notes, and preferences. This synced copy is private to your account: it is not visible to other users, and for individual members it is not visible to anyone else at all. Branch managers see only the dashboard summaries described below, never your notes.

Branch seat accounts: server-verified results

If your access is provided through a branch or organization seat, your mock exams and practice sets are administered, timed, and graded on our servers. We store each attempt (score, per-domain accuracy, the answers you selected, and timing), and these results are visible to your organization's managers and administrators on their dashboards. Attempt records are part of the organization's account and are retained while it remains active; they are how your branch verifies exam readiness. Your scratch notes and flashcard progress sync to your own private account copy exactly as they do for individual members; managers and administrators never see them.

Free diagnostic & study emails

If you take the free diagnostic and enter your email, we store that address with your score report so we can send the report, and, only if you ticked the consent box, a short series of study emails. Every such email includes a working one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribes are honored permanently. If you sign in to buy and do not finish checkout, we may send one reminder email. We never buy, rent, or sell email lists.

Accounts, payments & email

To provide paid access and the partner portal, we use Memberstack for account authentication and Stripe for payment processing. We never see or store your full card details. We use your email address to operate your account and to send transactional messages (such as seat and manager invitations, delivered through our email provider). Branch/organization dashboards store seat and progress records to power manager oversight.

Analytics

We measure site usage with Plausible, a cookie-free analytics service: it counts page views and events without building personal profiles or using advertising identifiers. Web fonts load from Google Fonts, whose servers receive standard web-request metadata (IP address, user agent); standard hosting and security logs may record similar technical data.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and SafePrepPro LLC (“SafePrepPro,” “we,” “us”). By using the SAFE National MLO Licensing Exam Study Prep platform you agree to them.

License

You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the platform for your own exam preparation. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish the question bank, lessons, or other content.

Access & billing

Individual access is sold two ways: as a 90-Day Pass, a one-time payment that unlocks access for 90 days from purchase (nothing renews and no card is kept on file), or as a one-month plan that renews each month until cancelled, with access through the end of the paid month. Branch and organization plans are per-seat subscriptions (3-seat minimum) that renew each billing period until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals at the end of the current paid period. Payments are processed by Stripe (via Memberstack for the one-month plan). Except where required by law, charges are non-refundable. If you believe you were billed in error, contact [email protected] and we will make it right.

Exam integrity on branch seats

For branch and organization seats, mock exams and practice sets are administered and graded on our servers: attempts are timed, recorded permanently, limited to one graded mock per 24 hours, and visible to your organization's managers. Abandoning a timed attempt records it as taken. Attempting to falsify, manipulate, or automate results is prohibited and may result in loss of access.

Pass Guarantee (individual plans)

If you complete at least three full-length mock exams on this platform scoring 85% or higher within the 30 days before your official SAFE National Test attempt and do not pass, email [email protected] within 14 days of your attempt with your official result notice, and we will extend your individual access free for one additional term so you can prepare for the retake. One extension per member. Applies to individual plans; branch-seat access is managed by the sponsoring organization.

No guarantee of results

Exam outcomes depend on many factors. We do not guarantee that you will pass the SAFE National Test, obtain or keep a license, or obtain employment, and readiness estimates are informational only.

Content accuracy

Content is reviewed against current federal regulation as of the Last-updated date shown on this page, but laws and thresholds change and errors are possible. The official statutes, regulations, and NMLS publications are always authoritative.

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the platform is limited to the amount you paid to use it.

Educational Disclaimer

SafePrepPro, the SAFE National MLO Licensing Exam Study Prep platform operated by SafePrepPro LLC, is an independent educational resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS), the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS), the State Regulatory Registry LLC, Prometric, the SAFE Act administrators, or any federal or state government agency.

“SAFE,” “NMLS,” and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to describe the examination this platform helps candidates prepare for.

This platform is exam preparation only. It is not NMLS-approved pre-licensure (PE) or continuing education (CE) and grants no credit hours toward any licensing requirement; the SAFE Act's 20-hour education requirement must be completed with an NMLS-approved course provider.

Nothing on this platform is legal, financial, tax, or compliance advice. Content summarizes regulations for exam-preparation purposes and omits nuance that matters in real transactions. For actual origination questions, consult your compliance department or counsel.

All practice questions are original works. Any resemblance to actual test items is coincidental and unintended.

Accessibility Statement

We want every candidate to be able to study here. The platform is built with semantic controls, keyboard-operable buttons, visible focus states, scalable text, and color pairings chosen for WCAG-AA contrast in both light and dark themes.

Known limitations

Some data visualizations (progress rings, bar charts) convey information by color and percentage label; the label always carries the information. The mock exam timer is visual. If you need timing accommodations, note that the real exam offers them too through NMLS.

DMCA Policy

We respect intellectual property rights and expect the same of our users. If you believe content on this platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] containing:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed. 2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and where it appears. 3. Your contact information. 4.
